"Molly is always prepared and thoughtful with regard to my particular situation.
Additionally, Molly, while always professional, is able to create an enjoyable environment around the hard work of the session."
-Joseph Sugerman MD

"I first came to Molly four years ago in agony. The shoulder I'd injured a year earlier was not getting better and my career as a writer was at stake. A body-work professional suggested I go see Molly. I also experienced nagging pain from old injuries I'd incurred as a dancer, but had learned to live with those discomforts and limitations.
My goal was to be able to use my shoulder and arm again. In no time, my experience of healing vastly surpassed that limited goal. Not only did my shoulder get significantly better — this, after trials with cortisone shots, doctor's visits and physical therapy with little relief — but the old dance injuries quieted down as well and I experienced a range of movement (pain free) I hadn't enjoyed in years.

The Thinking Body-The Feeling Mind®
The Thinking Body-The Feeling Mind® (created by Linda Lack PhD) is a different kind of Yoga. Like traditional Yoga it endeavors to explore the mind, body, breath connection. However, The Thinking Body-The feeling Mind® goes beyond Yoga in that it explores movement. It is a healing movement technique that incorporates Hatha Yoga, universal principles of alignment, and circular moving sequences. The focus is on integrated movement and educating bodies. It is a wonderful tool that can help reduce pain or minimize movement limitations. The intent is to meet the student where they are in their development and help them to realize their full movement potential in a respectful, non-injurious way.
In brief, The Thinking Body-The Feeling Mind®:
Endeavors to include all religions, cultures, sexes, shapes, sizes, fitness levels and ages
Meets the student where he or she is in their body
Helps prepare those not yet ready for traditional Yoga
Helps those on an advanced Yoga movement path
Teaches how to explore one’s own capacity for movement in a mindful, respectful, sophisticated and elegant way
Can help reduce pain and minimize movement limitations
Endeavors to help those with injuries heal while they explore the joys of how they can move rather than focusing on what they cannot do
Warms up the body thoroughly before challenging the body
Focuses on function rather than form
Teaches body awareness and alignment so right and left imbalances are explored, symmetry is sought, compensations are revealed
Is non-competitive
Encourages students to only do what their bodies are willing and able to do
